Central Bolivariana to request adjustment of Economic War bonus to BCV

The president of the Central Bolivariana Socialista de los Trabajadores (CBST), Wills Rangel, announced on Monday that he will submit a document to Nicolas Maduro requesting that the bonus against the Economic War be maintained and adjusted monthly according to the indicators of the Central Bank of Venezuela.

As part of the celebration of Labor Day, officialist workers marched in support of the policies promoted by the government of Maduro. Rafael Avendaño, president of the Federación Bolivariana Socialistas de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras de estado Lara, said that workers were fighting to build a new society and a different world under socialism.

Gustavo Saavedra, vice president of the Unidad Sindical de Trabajadores del Alimento del estado Lara, acknowledged Maduro’s extraordinary efforts in the face of the blockade imposed by imperialism that has affected the country on all levels.

President Rangel stressed the need for full recovery of the economy despite the blockade. He expressed confidence in the president as the leader best capable of moving the country towards its irreversible socialist revolution.

The CBST’s proposal for social benefits will be laid out in full in the document submitted to Maduro. It is hoped this important step will bring prosperity and stability to workers in Venezuela.
